My mission is to help you be the healthiest version of you by targeting your gut health.
I do this through nutritional therapy coaching, and writing a weekly Substack publication called The Gut Makeover.
You might already know me through my best-selling pioneering book of the same name, The Gut Makeover (2015), or time-restricted eating gentle fasting book The 10 Hour Diet (2021).
My food-first approach is delivered 2 ways – a personalised 1-2-1 method, and a widely-available one, The Gut Makeover publication subscription.
1) 1-2-1 programme
I offer 10-session nutritional therapy coaching packages to help you adopt and practice consistently, habits that you enjoy, with week-by-week support to optimise your gut health.
Science shows us that targeting the gut with the right foods can help the biome help your digestion work better, skin, weight, energy and so much more.
I work with just a handful of 1-2-1 clients at a time as I find this important work is most successful at low volume (ie very personalised).

2) The Gut Makeover is on the Substack web site providing you with weekly articles and a monthly Zoom gathering via subscription (with free and paid options). It’s the place to come for help with eating in a gut-centric way which I’ve seen help so many people in my clinical practice - from skin, digestion and bowel issues, to energy, sleep, mood, weight, bones and so much more.
My food-first Substack is designed to motivate and help you to eat really well through insider tips, recipes, food demos, and product reviews with a high-quality newsy article in your in-box on Wednesdays to help you makeover your gut and keep it nourished.
The Gut Makeover draws on 17 years of my work in nutrition (that I don’t share on social media) and access to me - I engage with every single one of your comments on there.
You’ll find detailed valuable info of the type I share with my inner circle. Eg is this supplement really any good? Where’s the sweet spot with overnight fasting? Is this M&S health drink, worth bothering with? How can I knock up a quick lunch for my gut health?
There’s also a fun and lively group Zoom meet-up monthly I invite The Gut Makeover subscribers to - from group coaching to fermented food demos to a chance to ask me anything on gut health, fasting, etc.
My weekly Substack articles bring you trustworthy, independent information using accessible foods incorporating my experience of more than a decade working with people like you in the real world.

The 10 Hour Diet
My book The 10 Hour Diet is the ultimate guide to using time-restricted eating (which is a form of intermittent fasting) to manage your weight and heart health, reduce risk of type-2 diabetes, and help your immune system.
It contains top tips and tweaks you need to get the most out of this form of fasting, based on human studies.
